Henry Ian Cusick races into the middle of a bustling marketplace. Desmond is out of breath, sweaty, wearing an unbuttoned maroon paisley shirt, rolled up to his elbows. He’s holding a piece of paper, readings it and scans the crown frantically. He calls out a name, over and over, but everybody in the crowd looks confused. The last name of the person he calls out is Salonga. Salonga is a Filipino village doctor in a small, rural community. He has vices but also has genuine medical skills.
Hurley has a car accident, wearing hospital-type garb, speeding down the street and knocking over boxes on the sidewalk. He’s being chased by Ana Lucia in a police car, wearing huge glasses. This might be a hallucination or a flashback.
09/18 - In Kaimuki, they were filming at the corner of 9th and Waialae Avenue . It is an accident scene where Hurley (stunt double was driving) speeds down the street and knocks over some boxes on the sidewalk before driving off.
Casting call info: There is a male British janitor in his late 40s or 50s. He’s nosy and gossipy and can’t keep a secret. Abigail is also a working class Brit. She’s deeply wounded and sarcastic, but stoic. She is a loyal caregiver at heart. Theresa is a blonde Brit in her 30s, who suffers from dementia, but also has small periods of lucidity. Finally, there is Sophie, who is British and in her late teens. She is outwardly a prim and proper aristocrat, but underneath, she is tough.

Michelle Rodriguez will also return, likely for just one episode. Cheech Marin is also on the guest list for this episode, so it might be a Hurley-centric one. Hurley might have an imaginary run-in with Ana Lucia.

Casting call info: This episode will feature a foreman in his 40s to 50s. He’s a blue-collar construction worker who has worked hard to provide for his family. He cares about his crew and resents the management’s condescension, but ultimately, he knows is place in the company’s pecking order. Another character in this episode is Martha, an attractive Asian and smart scientist. She is taking a break from her career to raise her baby, but plans to work again. Another recurring character is Dan, a high-priced attorney who is friendly, but can be menacing below the surface.
Hurley and Sayid drive into an apartment complex parking lot in a late-model blue SUV. (It and the other cars have California plates.) Sayid is wearing a black shirt and dark khaki pants, and Hurley is wearing a thick, long, grey bathrobe over a blue T-shirt. Hurley is also holding a burger and a paper cup. They sneak upstairs, up to the top floor, Hurley munching on his food the whole way. They reach the unit they are looking for, and after conferring for a moment, Sayid pushes Hurley aside, draws his gun and points it at the door. The door opens, and there’s a struggle inside. Sayid throws a man over the railing to the asphalt four stories below. There’s still another man inside the apartment, and gun shots ring out. Hurley emerges from the unit, gun in hand, and looks over at the railing in disbelief.
